The Role & Who We're Looking For

You Will

  • Develop nanomaterials with precisely controlled particle size
  • Fabricate and characterize advanced nanocomposites
  • Publish in high-impact scientific journals and present at conferences
  • Contribute to a growing body of high-quality, high-impact research
  • Supervise Bachelor's and Master's internship students
  • Prepare and defend a PhD thesis on schedule

You Bring

  • A Master's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in magnetic nanomaterials, conducting nanomaterials, 2D nanostructures, or polymer nanocomposites
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent-research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English; a collaborative, interdisciplinary mindset
  • Experimental research experience and a publication record (preferred)
  • Genuine motivation for scientific research and mentorship

Admission procedure fee: 740 CZK / 29 EUR. Tuition of 150,000 CZK/year applies to English-language degree programs, unless exempted by the Rector under Article 14 of the TBU Statute.
